Ayrshire breeders request entries for chain calf contest

DILLSBURG, Pa. -- The Pennsylvania Ayrshire Breeders' Association is holding a chain calf contest, open to youths from Pennsylvania, New Jersey and West Virginia who are between the ages of 8-14 as of January 1, 2013. Youths must currently be or be willing to become a member of the Pennsylvania Ayrshire Breeders' Association. They must also write a short essay telling why they would like to own a registered Ayrshire calf and what they would do to care for it.
