HARRISBURG, Pa. -- This is your last call for the National Dairy Shrine banquet and annual meeting to be held here on Wednesday, Sept. 11, as a special feature of the All-American Dairy Show. It was scheduled in recognition of the show’s 50th anniversary celebration this year. Festivities will take place at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex and Expo Center in Harrisburg.

Banquet tickets are available for $30 by contacting National Dairy Shrine Executive Director Dr. David Selner at info@dairyshrine.org or by calling 920-863-6333. A limited number of tickets will be available at the All-American Dairy Show office through Tuesday, Sept. 10.

The annual meeting begins at 4:30 p.m. in the Farm Show Complex’s Commonwealth Room, with a reception at 5:30 p.m. in the PA Preferred™ Banquet Hall.

“It is an incredible honor to host this prestigious event here in Harrisburg,” said Pennsylvania Agriculture Secretary George Greig. “Adding to the excitement, several of our All-American Dairy Show supporters and fellow Pennsylvanians will be recognized during the event.”

“National Dairy Shrine consists of 18,000 members including dairy producers, industry representatives and educators preserving our dairy heritage while growing and advancing the industry,” said Dale Olver, National Dairy Shrine president and Penn State University dairy and animal science instructor.

“We look forward to recognizing past and present dairy leaders and awarding scholarships to dairy youth from across the nation.”
