Lasagna dinner proceeds will benefit 4-H Exchange program in Bradford County
Troy, Pa. -- The Bradford County Interstate 4-H Exchange invites you to a lasagna dinner on Saturday, October 5, in the 4-H Building at Alparon Park starting at 5 p.m.
“The Exchange program gives 4-Hers an opportunity they will probably never get anywhere else,” stated Lori Knecht, 4-H leader and advisor of the Exchange Program. “They have a chance to meet new people and see different places; it’s an educational experience we do not want them to miss.”
The Exchange Program is a program to give youth ages 13-18 the opportunity to expand their horizons. These kids learn about money, management, organizing, planning, and that’s just the beginning. They get to travel, meet new people, make new friends and learn about other States and their way of life. The whole idea of exchange is to raise money so the exchange participants do not have to pay out of pocket for this educational experience.
Tickets for the dinner are $6 per adult, $3 per child (5-12), and children under the age of 4 eat free. If you purchase your tickets after Thursday, October 3, the price will increase to $8 per adult, $5 per child (5-12), and children under the age of 4 eat free. Tickets can also be purchased at the door. Dinner will be served from 5-7 p.m. and starting at 6:30 p.m., there will be a chance to buy your dessert with a pie auction. For tickets and additional information please contact the extension office at 570-265-2896 or via email firstname.lastname@example.org.
