DelVal’s Green & Gold Sale
request ‘the best you have to offer’

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. -- The Delaware Valley College Dairy Society announces its 15th Annual Green & Gold Spring Spectacular Sale will be held Saturday, March 29th at the Delaware Valley College Equine Center.

This will be the 10th year that the Dairy Society has teamed up with the Pennsylvania Holstein Association to hold the sale. Over the years, the Green & Gold Sale has grossed $1.7 million and has sold over 800 lots.

You are invited to become a part of the event by consigning. Sale selectors are looking for show-aged heifers, bred heifers, and young lactating cows. “We want to sell the best you have to offer,” said Clint Lutz, sale chairman.

The commission rates are as follows: 15% on the first $3500, then 5% on anything above. For additional consignments from the same farm, commission is 10% on the first 3500 and 5% for above that (the 15% is taken on the highest selling animal from the farm). Embryos sell at 10% commission.

Delaware Valley College’s ag program has students from across the East Coast, stretching from Georgia to New York, so feel free to contact Ken Raney or David Lentz from the Pennsylvania Holstein Association, or Clint Lutz, sale chairman, to be connected with someone to either consign or have someone visit.
