Entries invited for antique tractors show at Farm Show
HARRISBURG -- Antique farm equipment enthusiasts can enter their vintage iron in the eighth Antique Tractor and Engine Show during the 2014 Pennsylvania Farm Show.
The show is on Wednesday, Jan. 8, from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. in the Equine Arena of the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex and Expo Center in Harrisburg. Registration is due by Friday, Dec. 27, 2013.
“The Farm Show features the newest in technology and animal genetics while paying homage to the generations who farmed Pennsylvania before us,” said Agriculture Secretary George Greig. “These antiques are a link to our heritage and show the progress we’ve made in the last century. I encourage antique equipment owners to bring their best for this educational exhibit.”
Entries are open to any restored antique wheel and crawler tractors built before 1975, original tractors in good condition, restored antique farm trucks and stationary gas engines. Space is limited to 100 entries, selected on a first-come, first-served basis. All tractor operators must be at least 16 years old. Entry and parking is free for all exhibitors.
