HAGERSTOWN, Md. -- Mid-Maryland Dairy Veterinarians is now accepting reservations for MMDV-“University.” Clients may choose to attend individual classes or the entire nine part series as follows:
3. March: Replacements
4. April: Forage Quality and Feed Management
5. May: Milk Quality
6. September: Reproduction
7. October: Risk Management
8. November: Husbandry Techniques and Animal Welfare
9. Dec. Production, Culling & Internal Herd Growth
Classes will be held at the MMDV office on the third Thursday of the month from 7-9 p.m. Annual tuition for the nine sessions is $250 for the first attendee, $125 for each additional attendee or choose Individual sessions at $30 per class, per person.

MMDV-U is a 9-part series covering nine key areas to profitability. Classes start in January and are scheduled for the third Thursday of every month with a 3-month summer break from June to August. Snow dates will be the fourth Thursday of the month. Each interactive class will include a power-point presentation, packet of notes and information, round-table discussion, and question period. Communication and interaction between all class members is essential and encouraged during the session and outside of class to expedite discussion and growth.
