Select Sire Power invites scholarship applications

TUNKHANNOCK, Pa. -- Select Sire Power customers with students who have completed their first full year of studies at an agricultural college are eligible to apply for the 2012 Wayne Dudley Scholarship program, which has $10,000 to be awarded. Scholarship forms are available at www.selectsirepower.com or by calling 540-483-5123, or by e-mailing Kirk Sattazahn at kirk7@selectsirepower. com.

The Wayne Dudley Scholarships are awarded to eligible college undergraduates in an agricultural major to encourage and support young people desiring to study and work in agriculture. Select Sire Power, Inc. board of directors has made a commitment to providing money to support this scholarship program on an ongoing annual basis. Each year Select Sire Power awards up to $10,000 in scholarship money to outstanding college students. In 2012, one recipient will receive $2500, and several will receive $750 scholarships. Since 2000, Select Sire Power has given $100,000 to deserving future farmers and young agricultural leaders in the Select Sire Power sales area.
