GTPI Sale: Shamrock from Ladys-Manor goes for $52,500

LEBANON, Pa. -- The 4th Edition of the GTPI Sale, managed by Landis Marketing and Daniel Brandt, was held here on February 10. A large crowd was on hand to witness a sale-record average of $6,026 on 78 full lots.

Topping the sale was Ladys-Manor Sham Garbo-ET, an early Shamrock with +2368 GTPI. Garbo sold with AI contracts and pending interest in embryo contracts. Her dam is a VG-85 87-MS Freddie daughter from an EX-92 Goldwyn from the EX-94 Ruby Jen family. This consignment of Ladys-Manor Farm, Monkton, Md., was knocked off at  $52,500 to Daisy Farm of Texas.

Deep-Run-Crk Cst Majesta-ET was the second high seller at $31,000. Consigned by Deep Run Creek Holsteins, Myerstown, Pa., this July Larcrest Contrast daughter is the  No.1 GTPI Contrast at +2347 and sold with several AI and embryo contracts. Her dam, Winning-Way Mattie, is a VG Mac daughter from the same maternal family as O-Man. She also was purchased by Daisy Farm.

The third highest seller was Car-J Jeeves Lady Mo-ET, the  No.1 GTPI Jeeves daughter at +2275. Her dam is a VG-86 Boliver from an EX Mtoto from Eastview breeding. Soon due to calve, Lady Mo sold with numerous contracts. Troy Yoder of Montezuma, Ga., bid last at $22,200 to take home this consignment of Carlton Williard, Graham, N.C.     There were several other lots selling for over $15,000 including:

$17,000 A first choice Mogul x Brandt-View Colby Kimber VG-85 (+2276 GTPI), the No.1 GTPI Colby

$16,200 An Oct +2314 GTPI Gold Chip x VG-88 Mac x VG-87 Titanic x EX-92 Durham

$15,000- A first choice by Mogul, Mixer & Cameron x Lynncrest Super Zinnia (+2303 GTPI) x EX-91 Goldwyn x Zip family
